Catamaran Sailing
Sailing is both a sport and a recreational activity that a number of people enjoy doing. There are actually a variety of boats that people use in this activity from keel boats to cat boats, from yawls to trimarans and of course a look at catamaran sailing brings to our attention the fine details about its boat type called the catamaran.
Dragon Boat
Traditionally made from China, Dragon boat is a long and powered by paddles of a team. It is traditionally made for the commemoration of Qu Yuan’s death then later on it became “Dragon boat racing” and part of China’s history and sport.
Dragon Boat Race
Not all people are aware of what a dragon boat race is, but then again, this is a topic that a lot of people will find interesting. What a dragon boat race is can be described as a Chinese paddling sport with a team of rowers riding an extremely narrow and long boat wherein “dragon decors” (both the head and tail) and a big drum are found. This sport started in order to commemorate Qu Yuan’s death, the Father of Chinese poetry.

A small sailboat is considered a small sailboat if it measures around 10 to 19 feet in length. Which is about 3 to 7 meters.
Tall Ships
A marine vessel that is rigged is often referred to as a tall ship. All the popular tall ships come with Brigs, Brigantines, Topsail Schooners and Barques. When compared to that of traditional rigging, these tall ships have square rigs that have topmasts and a divided topsail and gaff rigs.
Model Sailboats
Owning a massive big sailboat is so many peoples dream, cruising around the world any where you like.... but sometimes it just not practical. So there is of course another alternative. You can purchase a personal sailboat for yourself and family to use, a smaller vessel which I talk a lot about in this site and of course there is the option of buying model sailboats!
Ice Sailing
Ice sailing dates back as far as the 18th century. Of course the crazy Dutch invented this type of sailing so they could transport goods and people across iced over lakes and streams. This means that people can still go sailing even when there is no water to sail on.
